Data Deletion Instructions

We respect your right to be forgotten. Here is how you can request the deletion of your account and associated data.

How to Delete Your Data

According to Facebook Platform rules and Google Play policies, we provide a way for users to request that their data be deleted. You can delete your account and data using one of the following methods:

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the Apna Karak app on your device.
2. Go to Settings from the side menu.
3. Tap on Account Settings.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Confirm your choice. This will immediately deactivate your account and schedule your data for permanent deletion.

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request data deletion by emailing us:

Subject: Data Deletion Request - Apna Karak
Content: Please include your registered email address or phone number. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (Name, Email, Phone, Photo).
  • Your authentication credentials.
  • Your personal settings and preferences.
  • Any private messages or notifications associated with your account.

Note: Public content you have posted (such as Community News, Marketplace Listings, or Job Posts) may remain visible but will be anonymized (attributed to "Deleted User"), or you can request specific content removal in your email.
