APPNEST VPN Terms of Service
These Terms apply to the APPNEST VPN Android app (com.appnest.vpn), published by APPNEST on Google Play. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
1. About APPNEST VPN
APPNEST VPN sends your internet traffic through an encrypted WireGuard tunnel to a server in the location you pick. The location stays the same until you change it.
There are no accounts, and we do not log the websites or apps you reach through the tunnel. See the privacy policy for full details.
The app is currently in closed testing. Test versions may change, stop working or be withdrawn without notice.
2. Purchases and refunds
Some features are part of an optional Premium subscription.
- The price and billing period are shown in Google Play, in your local currency, before you buy
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions
- When you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for
All payments are made through Google Play Billing. APPNEST never sees or stores your card or bank details. Refunds follow the Google Play refund policy, and you can also contact us for help.
3. Acceptable use
When you use APPNEST VPN, you agree to these rules:
- Do not use the VPN for anything illegal, including fraud, hacking, or spreading malware
- Do not send spam, attack other networks, or scan or flood other systems through our servers
- Do not use so much bandwidth that the service gets worse for other users
- Follow the laws on VPN use in your country
- Do not copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, or share modified versions of it
- Do not try to get unauthorised access to our servers or overload them with automated requests
- Do not use the app to break the law or the rights of other people
4. Important notices
Locations and availability
Server locations are shared by everyone connected to them. We may add, change or remove locations, and a location may be slow or offline at times. We may disconnect or block a connection that breaks these Terms.
What a VPN cannot do
A VPN hides your IP address from the websites you visit. It does not make you anonymous. Websites can still know you through accounts you sign in to, cookies or browser fingerprinting.
5. Privacy
How the app handles data is explained in the APPNEST VPN Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Ownership and licence
The app, its design and its content belong to APPNEST. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these Terms. Other names and brands mentioned in the app belong to their owners.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and working, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or right for your purpose. Features may change or be removed in updates.
8. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, APPNEST is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, that comes from using or not being able to use the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you, including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
10. Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Google Play first. We may stop providing the app, or block access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new Terms apply.
