WiFi Manager Terms of Service
These Terms apply to the WiFi Manager Android app (com.appnest.wifimanager), published by APPNEST on Google Play. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
1. About WiFi Manager
WiFi Manager shows details of the Wi-Fi network your phone is on, finds your router, opens the router’s settings page, and on supported routers lets you sign in to see the devices connected to your Wi-Fi.
Your router username and password are used only to talk to your router on your own network.
2. Purchases and refunds
The app is free and has no paid features or in-app purchases.
3. Acceptable use
When you use WiFi Manager, you agree to these rules:
- Use the app only with networks and routers that you own or that you are allowed to manage
- Do not try to guess or break into router passwords
- Do not copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, or share modified versions of it
- Do not try to get unauthorised access to our servers or overload them with automated requests
- Do not use the app to break the law or the rights of other people
4. Important notices
Router changes are your choice
Changing router settings can disconnect devices or stop your internet. Make changes carefully. APPNEST is not responsible for problems caused by settings you change.
Not affiliated with router makers
WiFi Manager is not made by or connected to any router brand. Router names and brands belong to their owners. Support for a router model can change when its maker updates the router software.
5. Privacy
How the app handles data is explained in the WiFi Manager Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Ownership and licence
The app, its design and its content belong to APPNEST. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these Terms. Other names and brands mentioned in the app belong to their owners.
7. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and working, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or right for your purpose. Features may change or be removed in updates.
8. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, APPNEST is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, that comes from using or not being able to use the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you, including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
10. Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Google Play first. We may stop providing the app, or block access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new Terms apply.
